I learned a few things today:
I learned that my situation with school is not as dire as I thought. I still need to pass, but I’m not so stressed out over it that I’m immobilised.
I need to continue this blog even when I don’t feel like it because it’s recording who I am and making me better at writing.
I need to follow this bible verse more: Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: (James 1:19 KJV)
Anger is not productive and I know I need to talk less and listen more.
I learned that I care almost nothing for TV. I used to be obsessed with different shows. I’ll sometimes watch one episode if I have time to spare but even then I usually don’t watch TV.
I learned that more spare time comes from not letting other people’s problems become mine.
I learned that everyone needs to have a clean slate with me from this moment on. God forgives us as we forgive others and I need a lot of forgiveness from God.
I learned that I need to say no to opportunities when I have too much going on. I could have said no to something on Wednesday but said yes and will have to back out tomorrow.
Finally, I learned that you shouldn’t try to change the brightness on your iPhone while lying on your bed in the dark. You’ll blind yourself.
