Something that I don't have a lot of in my house are really great lamps....I have a couple of table lamps but as the style of my home & my own taste has changed over the year, lighting has been one thing that I haven't paid much attention to.I have been looking for something slightly more contemporary & was thinking of an anglepoise style lamp & then I came across this table lamp which was just right....it's a beautifully stylish lamp, heavy & sturdy & it seems to fit perfectly wherever you position it.I think that when I eventually get my desk back, I may add this to my workspace, but for now it sits on a reading table at one end of the sofa.
I love its antique chrome look, the fact that it's such a stylish lamp, both modern & classic in design....I also love that it can be both a very small light and a huge light....in the early evening I like to position it so that it uplights my gallery wall & accentuates the colours of the images....and late at night, it provides a soft & comforting reading light.
