Thief Steals Red Honey’s Money, Two Shows Tonight at LAB to Try to Recoup Cash for New Album

Posted on the 04 April 2013 by Citizenthymes @citizenthymes

The band Red Honey had saved $750 to produce their new album, but unfortunately that money was stolen after the lead singer left it in her car. Now the Asheville music community is coming together tonight at the Lexington Avenue Brewery for two shows to try to recoup that money.

From the Facebook Event Page:

Be cool, Honey Bunny, this was a robbery, but in this town, good must triumph over evil. Instead of striking down with great vengeance and furious anger, we’re going to throw a party and raise some money.

If you like your Red Honey with a side of Pulp Fiction, be here at 7:00 P.M. for a special menu of small bites fueled by Red Honey’s interpretations of cuts from the Pulp Fiction soundtrack. Tickets are $15 each and include small bites and both shows.

If you like your Red Honey with a side of Pierce Edens, be here at 9:00 P.M. for a solo set from Pierce and brand new tunes from Red Honey’s upcoming album. And yes, it will be on vinyl. Tickets for the later show are $7.

Zed? Zed’s not dead, baby
