The Way I Was Made!

By Familyfriends @familyfriends_

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. Rom 8:28

Who do you listen to? the world or the Word of God. I know in my own life I have to many times listen to the world, telling me how to think about my self, my dreams, my goals. Unfortunately this world want us to think in a way that’s not from the word God. It’s more or less about me, my self and I. It’s about how many things we have, where we live, what type of car we drive, what destination our vacation have. Even I have at one point in my life tried to convince people that if you just buy or wear a particular item you will be perceived as a cool, right sanding, active man and husband.

In my past, working in advertising I have seen a big shift from when I started working in the industri. About 20 years ago it was all about the product, trying to convince the consumer that “my” product solved your problem in the best possible what. Like a snow shovel, 20 years back the communication would been like “Use this excellent Snow shovel with a firm handle and solid material that will make this last a life time”, basically describing the product. Today the communication would sound or look more like this “When you use this cool snow shovel it will show how cool you are, and you will be the coolest guy in the neighborhood, it is black and cool looking that will make all your friends envy Your snow Shovle”

I know I am over exaggerate but when you think about it it is more or less in this way. That why it is so important that we, as men, on a daily basis turn to the true word, the Word of God. You and I both know when we follow God’s Word and not the worlds, we will be blessed in way we can not understand, and I want to remind you of all the promises that God has for you and your life. It is time to be the Men we where made to be!

PSALM 112
Praise the Lord!
Happy is the person who honors the Lord,
who takes pleasure in obeying his commands.
2 The good man’s children will be powerful in the land;
his descendants will be blessed.
3 His family will be wealthy and rich,
and he will be prosperous forever.
4 Light shines in the darkness for good people,
for those who are merciful, kind, and just.
5 Happy is the person who is generous with his loans,
who runs his business honestly.
6 A good person will never fail;
he will always be remembered.
7 He is not afraid of receiving bad news;
his faith is strong, and he trusts in the Lord.
8 He is not worried or afraid;
he is certain to see his enemies defeated.
9 He gives generously to the needy,
and his kindness never fails;
he will be powerful and respected.
10 The wicked see this and are angry;
they glare in hate and disappear;
their hopes are gone forever.

Blessing
