The world’s largest museum of decorative arts and design Victoria and Albert Museum , for the new season of the next year will tell the story of modern Italian fashion. The exhibition, which will open on 5 April next year and will end on July 27 , carefully disassemble all the stages of development of the Italian fashion design , bringing together more than 100 works by leading Italian houses such as Prada, Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana, Gianfranco Ferre and Gucci.
But Italian fashion has always lived outside the podium , magnificent costumes with gold embroidery by Mila Schoen and Sorelle Fontana created specifically for Hollywood 50′s and 60 ‘s golden era, will not be left without attention. After all, the wealth of decoration and elegance of embroidery has always been part of the Italian fashion and their view largely defined the style of the entire era.

The Glamour of Italian Fashion 1945-2014, sponsored by Bulgari, runs from 5 April – 27 July 2014 at the V&A.
