Wedding things have been in the background a bit this week thanks to a really busy week at work.
However, I have managed to do some wedding things which really cheered me up.
Well, the story so far. I have booked pretty much everything except the bridesmaid dresses, still in search of those.
The venue was booked within about two months of getting engaged with the church soon after. Our photographer was next. To me, these are the most important elements of the wedding. Each bride and groom will prioritise a part of their wedding, be it clothes or flowers or the photographer, our wedding photos are our priority. We both love photos so choosing the best photographer was very important.
Next we booked our florist, then a big red bus to transport our guests from the church to the venue. Cars were next and we booked some lovely classic cars.
During this time, Confetti were having a sale so I managed to get the boxes for our wedding favours at a discounted price! That was a bonus. I would definitely suggest that brides with a few concrete ideas to keep an eye on sales.
We also booked the invitation lady at the same time. (I feel like I should call her a stationer but I think that makes her sound like WHSmiths.) Unfortunately, the invites that we had chosen were no longer in production but she made some alternative suggestions that will look really good.
Then, in the Easter hols I chose my dress!
