Cut in patent leather, a combination between shoes and artwork, these butterflies sandals from Sergio Rossi Resort 2014 collection is inspired by the famous candelabrum Gocce Oro (1974) by the artist Gabriella Crespi famous for her creations in gold and black tones

An ode to the ’70s aesthetic geometric dear to the artist , that Angelo Ruggeri , the new artistic director of Sergio Rossi since February 2012 unveiled with elegance at the Milan Furniture Fair 2013. Emblem of the Italian house , the butterfly carved in gold patent leather and the sharp heel borrow their design techniques of jewelry filigree that the artist had used to make her famous candelabra . The butterflies sandals are available now in selected stores.
