THE SONICS PROVE THEY’RE STILL VITAL WITH HARD ROCKING ‘BAD BETTY’ [STREAM] Pause The Sonics – Bad Betty SoundCloud

Hell fucking yeah!  The Sonics are back and make us want to shake it, move it, and shout “Hell fucking yeah!

The Sonics came about and were relevant in the 60’s.  Escaping any narrowed version of a ‘Rock’ identity, their music transcended across, and helped influence many genres of Rock n’ Roll.  Garage, punk, hard– you name it, they helped to shape it. They came back for a festival appearance in 2007 and it must have reignited their passion, because they’ve been touring ever since.  And it’s led to this – their latest album, This is the Sonics, due to be released March 31st.  Their first single from the new album, “Bad Betty,” is a hard-rocking tune led by their exaggerated drum beats, penetrating guitar chords, and a saxophone that toes the line of stealing the spotlight.  Their expected shattering vocals round out their sound and make us believe that we are really all children of the 60’s.  Their music defines an era and we’re overjoyed that they are back!  Grab a listen—be it on digital, CD, or Vinyl–you can’t go wrong with The Sonics.
