Couch Gag – This time we return to the tipping over couch with Maggie landing on a cushion.

Plot SynopsisAfter becoming trapped in a water slide, Homer decides to go on a diet, while Marge enrolls in an art class and is soon commissioned to paint a portrait of Mr. Burns.

What is going on reallyThe episode starts when Krusty at Mt Splashmore leading to Bart and Lisa constantly asking Homer until they get a yes.

The day goes wrong when Homer finds himself getting stuck in one of the rides becoming the laughing stock of the town, leading to Homer going on a diet.

When searching for his athletic equipment Homer finds old paintings that Marge drew in her youth, this leads to the family pushing her to return to the artist life.

When Marge becomes an overnight sensation, she is asked to paint a portray of Mr Burns as Homer’s diet is going well. We get to see how Marge can do her best to see the best in people however evil then can come across.

Final ThoughtsThis is another episode where we get two stories balanced together but with not enough focus on Homer’s diet and I know we see it a lot through the show. I did like how Marge was brave enough to try and follow a dream though.
