Despite being the most popular smartphone on the market the Samsung Galaxy S3 is set to take on some new features as the manufacturers try and improve on what is already a very impressive phone. It looks as though before the year is out users of the device will be able to enjoy the new multi window feature that is also used on the new Galaxy Note 2 model.
The first device to actually use this multi window feature was the Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet but given the large screen size on the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 the developers felt it would also work well on this smartphone. According to SamMobile it looks as though the Galaxy S3 is next to get this treatment and users can expect an update to be rolled out before the end of the year. The addition of the multi window facility on this device will enable users of the phone to have two windows open, side by side, on the same screen. This means that two totally different tasks could be performed at the same time. At the moment only selected apps will work on multi window but Samsung are working on increasing this number in the near future.
Thanks to its large 4.8 inch screen the Samsung Galaxy S3 is the perfect handset to enjoy a great new feature such as this. A handset with a smaller screen such as the iPhone 5 would struggle to display two windows on the same screen but there are no such concerns for the Galaxy S3. Not only is the size ideal but the high resolution and excellent Super AMOLED technology ensures that information that is displayed looks crystal clear. The handset also boasts a quad core processor and this is perfect to allow the handset to run two tasks simultaneously. This new feature will only make the S3 an even more attractive proposition to consumers. The device is already a huge success having sold over 30 million units since its launch earlier in the Summer.
The new multi window feature is yet another string to the bow of the Samsung Galaxy S3, a handset on course to become one of he most popular of all time.
