The Q Score

Posted on the 12 January 2011 by Maria Snyder @MariaConsulting

A long-time colleague of mine says I have the Q Score/Factor. Honestly I’d heard the expression before but had not applied it to myself.
So what is the Q Score, I looked it up. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Q_Score/ defines it as a measurement of the familiarity and appeal of a brand, company, celebrity, or television show used in the United States. The higher the Q Score, the more highly-regarded the item or person is among the group that is familiar with them.
What they said was true. I don’t often brag but I am taking the opportunity to blog about it this time. Being on top of the fluid environment in social media is easy. I make it look easy when there are actually many controlled processes behind what I do as a Social Media Manager. Technique is something that you polish and continually improve, mine is shiny.
So you are looking for someone to manage your social media? Are they experienced, do they have real marketing skills, can they interact and exercise judgment appropriately, are they ethical? I know someone, her name is Maria and you’re here, you came to the right place.
