Sofia means wisdom. One day, I’d like to live up to my name. Currently, I don’t feel wise. Much like the first draft of a novel, I’m a work in progress.
Having said that, I do have one piece of advice to share, something my Grandfather told me; Be your own best friend. If you don’t like yourself, no one else will.
Some days, liking myself is easier to do than others. On the less easy days, I remind myself that no one is perfect. It’s okay to have a bad day as long as you do your best to make the next one better.
