…a load of Beluga?
A recording was released by the National Marine Mammal Foundation in San Diego, California yesterday of Noc, the Beluga whale, who had apparently learnt to imitate human speech. I can’t quite decide whether he sounds like a boyband wannabe or a child singing through a megaphone made from an old cereal packet. Apparently he stopped doing this when he “reached maturity” – so I suppose he could have been either!
