For someone with a sensitive nose, I find it hard to find the
right perfume for me. I am very prone to sinusitis because of that. I often
settle with baby colognes or anything that doesn’t overwhelm me (and my nose).
I do love a fragrance that smells like fruits that’s why the first time I
smelled the Often Olive Juice Body Spray,
I know I have found my first every day scent. That’s not all, because Alon
Island sent me another two products from the same line that smells exactly the
same – Often Dry Olive Oil and Often Olive Sanitizer!
I will talk about their scents first since all three of them are
the same. Honestly, I don’t know how Olive really smells like, so I am in no
place to say that it smells exactly like Olive oil. One thing is for sure,
these three has this fruity-citrus smell going on. There’s something spicy
about it too, it’s very faint but it’s definitely there. It actually reminds me
of Elizabeth Arden’s Green Tea Scent Spray (read
my review here), only Often has a strong
fruity and an ocean scent which makes you feel fresh and playful.
Often
Hydrating Dry Olive Oil Mist (PHP 425)
When my hair looks dull and flat, I always spray it on my hand
and massage it to my hair. It instantly adds shine, moisture, and making it
easier for finger to style my hair minus the greasy look and feel. According to
its label, it can be used on the face and body. But since it is still oil after
all, I don’t recommend using it on the body because of its hot sensation.
Often Rejuvenating Olive Juice Body Spray (PHP 325) As I said earlier, this has been my every day cologne. It smells so good that even my classmates are asking for a spritz on themselves. Its scent stays for as long as 8-10 hours. Though, after the 6th hour, the scent is barely noticeable anymore, but it’s certainly there, especially when I apply it at the back of my ear.
Often Sanitizer (PHP 95) This hand sanitizer doesn’t have any hint of alcohol in it. So it is not drying as the other santizers. It has the same scent as the oil and body spray; however, it doesn’t last long. I’d say it only stays for at least 10 minutes max which I find really perfect because I love finger foods!
