The Little Black Dress

By Wildchildmedia @wildchildmedia

The LBD is a classic fashion trend that will never go out of style – and this week celebrities have been strutting their stuff on the red carpet, adding a new twist to the simple look. But sometimes even the perfect LBD, can be a bit boring and maybe you’ve outworn your favourite. Turns out, with a couple of layers and and some bold accessories, any LBD can feel like a brand new purchase. The LBD is the most useful item a lady can have in he wardrobe as this trend will never fade.

Still not sure on what you will wear this party season? Treat yourself and your wardrobe to a failsafe LBD, as there is one to suit every figure and budget. Whatever festive frock you choose stride into parties with confidence, sparkle and a smile and you’ll have a fantastic time. Sheena Smith, director at Teen Vogue says, “Make sure the dress fits you nicely and you have enough room to put something underneath it. And when you want to put something over it, it should still be very fitted… The key thing for finding a dress that you want to wear all the time is silhouette. Pick something in a shape you know looks good on you, in a fabric that you really like.”

Here’s some of my picks from the high street for the festive period.
