Helen Mirren for L’Oreal Paris UK

Actress Helen Mirren has been announced as the UK Ambassador for L’Oreal Paris. Speaking about her new role, she said:

“I am not gorgeous, I never was, but I was always OK-looking and I’m keen to stay that way. I hope I can inspire other women towards greater confidence by making the most of their natural good looks. We are all worth it!”

According to L’Oreal, in a survey they conducted, Helen Mirren was continuously ranked number one in the ability to appeal to most women.

 

Gabrielle Union for SensatioNail

Actress Gabrielle Union will front Gel Nail SensatioNail’s new campaigns with the first one beginning on December 8th. How did Gabrielle come to be introduced to SensatioNail?

“[My husband] proposed in between manicures and my manicurist called and said, ‘I cannot believe on your biggest moment your nails looked crazy,’” Union told Women’s Wear Daily. “After that she sent me the [Sensationail] starter kit and the card said, ‘No excuses, you’re not going to make me look terrible even if you’re on your own.’”

 

Miley Cyrus for Viva Glam by MAC

Miley Cyrus has become the new face of the Viva Glam line by MAC Cosmetics, following the in footsteps of Rihanna, Nicki Minaj and Lady Gaga. The Viva Glam line asks their spokesperson to create limited edition products with 100% of each sale going towards a charity. Miley Cyrus’ Viva Glam Miley Cyrus Lipstick in Hot Pink (Amplified) and Lipglass in Hot Pink With Sparkling Pearl will be available next year with earnings going to the MAC Aids Fund, helping those affected with HIV. Announcing her new role on Twitter, Miley tweeted:

”Going #VIVAGLAM with @MACcosmetics. Look for my lipstick in early 2015”

 

Kendall Jenner for Estee Lauder

The second youngest ‘Kardashian’ sister (although she technically is a Jenner), Kendall Jenner has been announced as the new face of Estee Lauder at 19 years of age. Discussing Kendall’s new role, Estée Lauder global brand president Jane Hertzmark Hudis said:

“She is the ultimate instagirl, and we are excited to leverage her image, voice, energy and extraordinary social media power to introduce Estée Lauder to millions of young women around the world.”

And it seems like their strategy is working as in under 4 days, Kendall’s announcement on her own Instagram page has led to over 50,000 new people following Estee Lauder’s Instagram account! She’ll appear in the campaigns along with Supermodel Joan Smalls.
