THE LANDMARK HOTEL LONDON | REVIEW
There are so many hotels in London it all becomes a bit of a mind field when you are choosing one to book for your visit. I always like to stay in a new hotel each time I visit London, but I tend to gravitate towards the sleek and contemporary rather the classic. On this particular visit to London I was going to be at one of its finest, the Landmark hotel

Whether it's the fact it's in Marylebone and I often head to more central, I'm not sure, but with it only being a short trot from Baker Street station my Mum and I treated ourselves.
Elegant and grand is how I would describe this particular London hotel. On entry you are greeted by attentive staff and a large, light open space, with steps leading up to a vast atrium. A space complete with palm trees from Miami, that I learnt had been residence since 1995. In the atrium is where breakfast and afternoon tea were served.

I had booked a suite for this stay, which consists of two queen sized beds, a sofa area and good sized bathroom, with both a stand alone shower and a good sized bath.  There were 4 large windows which brought in plenty of natural day light, making the room feel all the more bigger, but still remaining warm and cosy. I must admit the decor is starting to look rather dated, but I over heard they are due to be doing renovations to modernise.

They revamped their ball room in 2015 and their grand ballroom had its unveiling the night we stopped over. Hosting an event there must be absolutely amazing, it was complete with gorgeous chandeliers and a fabulously exquisite lighting concept. I can imagine having an event here would be special.

The spa is an area you don't want to miss, complete with  a top of the range gym, you can keep to your excersie regime regardless of you staying away. It has a beautiful 15 meter swimming pool and great selection of gym facilities too.  As you would expect the staff we very attentive throughout my stay. I found breakfast to be worth the additional money, as you got such a wide selection you quite possibly wouldn't need lunch later! Fresh foods, cooked breakfasts, pancakes, porridge and home made baked goods, it quite honestly  went on and on! My words really don't allow it any justice. Hopefully my photos do! It was lovely to be given the choice of coffee I wanted as well, so of course I had the most delicious cappuccino.... Or two!
THE LANDMARK HOTEL LONDON | REVIEWTHE LANDMARK HOTEL LONDON | REVIEWTHE LANDMARK HOTEL LONDON | REVIEWTHE LANDMARK HOTEL LONDON | REVIEW I think my favorite part of staying at the Landmark... was purely the fact I finally got to stay there! The breakfast was a pretty big contender of my favorite elements. Just being there was amazing and I don't mean just to sleepover, I mean to just sit on the sofas, find those little nooks where I could read the paper, or finish my book, everything was catching my eye. There was just something very calming in comparison to the oh so hectic road outside. The weather was terrible when we visited  so we really did indulge in the surroundings of this classic London venue.

With all the Landmark's history I was thrilled I could finally check this venue off my must stay at list.  If you fancy a true London stay then this is the place, tie it in with a theater show and a Landmark afternoon tea, and I'd say you've got yourself an amazing weekend in the big city.
