2The internet really wanted Leonardo DiCaprio to win the Oscar this year,but he didn’t. Truly sad for this awesome actor but great for the internet, who had a wonderful time meme-ing the hell out of his ongoing losing streak. Twitter was bombarded with memes and gifs,right after it was clear that bad luck Leo was denied an Oscar, once again.
But let’s look at it from the bright side.Leonardo DiCaprio not getting an Oscar is actually not big deal. Marlon Brando was nominated three times before he won for 1954′s On the Waterfront.Gregory Peck has four nominations before being awarded in 1962 for To Kill a Mockingbird. DiCaprio will make a lot more Oscar-caliber movies.
