The Honeymoon Project’s Christmas Gift Guide #1

By Thehoneymoonproject @thehoneymoonpro

Now that I’m back from holiday, Christmas shopping is very much on my mind, and I’m trying not to be overwhelmed by just how much I’ve got left to do. So in case you’re in the same position, and are looking for a bit of inspiration, here’s a few of my picks for this year (including a sneaky few from my own list). I’m aware that it’s a bit female-heavy, however, so I’ll be back next week with a few more male-friendly gifts.

The Honeymoon Project's Gift Guide #1

Clockwise from top left:

Key per laptop sleeve from Fossil £45 – I’ve been on the look-out for a decent laptop bag for ages; this one is cute but stylish and practical, and will fit easily into a carry-on bag.

Piedmont Globe from Stanfords £99.95 – I’ve always wanted a globe and this one is perfect, featuring an up-to-date map with an antiquated look.

Tender is the Night by F. Scott Fitzgerald from Amazon £10.49 – I read this book for the first time earlier this year and utterly fell in love with Fitzgerald’s prose. Though I love my now-battered copy, I can’t help lusting over Penguin’s beautiful new hardback versions of his books, and they’d make a very stylish gift.

Alma Potschke Scarf from Anthropologie £48 – A decent scarf is always a great item to take on a plane to keep you warm, and can be multi-functional while you’re actually away. I love the fun print and bright colours of this one.

Bamboo leather make-up bag from Not on the High Street £29.95 – A simple but smart make-up bag that’s a handy size for taking on the plane with you.

Lippy Cow Natural Lip Balm from Cowshed £5 – I love Cowshed products, not least for their focus on natural ingredients, and at this time of year lip balm always makes a great stocking filler.

For The Zoo Notebook from Stanfords £5.50 – Another great stocking filler, I love the design of this cute notebook, which would be perfect for jotting down your thoughts on honeymoon.

A Perfect World Moisturiser from Origins £32 – This is one of my favorite moisturisers as it leaves my face feeling silky-soft. Best of all, it’s a small enough pot to be able to take it on the plane.

Laura Mercier Luxe Colour Portfolio from Space NK £65 – Laura Mercier is currently my favorite for make up, and the colours in this palette are just gorgeous – as it includes eye liner, eye shadow and blushers, it’s perfect for taking away on honeymoon.

Jet Jewellery Roll from Monsoon £18 – I got bought a jewelry roll a few years ago and I have to say that it’s been invaluable on my travels, and always stops my necklaces from getting tangled. Monsoon has a few options in store at the moment – I especially love the dark, somewhat vintage design of this one.

Spotted any great travel-related gifts lately? Let me know if you have as I’m always on the look out for great ideas.
