Happiness is…. a poolside cocktail…
I’ve got MAJOR post holiday blues so I’ve created this little post to remind myself that while 26 degree temperatures are a distant memory, there are plenty of reasons to smile. Welcome to a brand new blog series called The Happy List. It’s basically a lovely list of things that have made me smile this week. Grab a snack and let’s get started.
Last week was split between Egypt, London and Leeds. No sooner had I landed, I was running for my train to London for a wedding dress fitting.
I took one of my favorite people with me and we ate pizza at Harrods and celebrated the trip with a glass of bubbles in the champagne bar. I fully recommend booking in something fun to do post holiday as there is nothing worse than having a week with no treats.

My last beauty post was infused with Dior shaped disappointment but the brand has well and truly won back my adoration with this little beauty. The Dior Lip Maximizer was a present from my Mum and it hasn’t left my side since I convinced her to ‘lend’ me it. Like all of the lip maximisers I’ve tried, I wouldn’t say there was a noticeable difference in the fullness of my lips (you won’t find Kylie Jenner’s pout in here) but it delivers the palest pink sheen that you will adore if you are a fan of the fresh faced look like me.
I am obsessed with stationery and I tend to pick up cute cards as and when I see them rather that waiting for someone’s Birthday. I’m a firm believer of cards for all occasions and nothing makes me happier than sending them. I came across the cutest brand this year and I wanted to share it on the blog for other stationery lovers. I have an impossibly busy year coming up with lovely social occasions and what better way to prepare than with some lovely cards. These postcards from Hammond Gower are perfect to pop in with presents.

Coming back from a hot location to discover it’s 4 degrees isn’t fun but I did get to finally put my new Aspinal travel wallet to good use. Any excuse to flash this bad boy and I’ll take it even if it is to return home to rainy England. This was a Christmas present from my Fiance and what a beauty it is.

It may be freezing but the cold weather is the perfect excuse to show off these stunning tights from Wolford. I love anything sparkly and these black tights are sprinkled with dazzling Swaraovski crystals. Very fancy! Wolford kindly brightened up my day by sending me these beautiful tights and I can’t wait to wear them with my fave LBD.
