The Galaxy S6 Camera Will Come with a Pro Mode

Rumors about the upcoming Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are flying in non-stop, and according to a recent report by Sammobile, the Galaxy S6 will feature a 20-megapixel camera developed by Samsung.

The camera will be able to take photos with following resolutions: 20MP (5952×3348), 15MP (4464×3348), 11MP (3344×3344), 8MP (3264×2448), 6MP (3264×1836) and 2.4MP (2048×1152), and it will also come with a Pro Mode. As for the front camera, it will be the same 5-megapixel one found in Samsung’s Galaxy A series.

Samsung has recently published some info on the camera on its website: “We meticulously evaluate every single facet of our smartphone cameras by taking over 10,000 photos in every imaginable lighting environment for analysis. The same passion and dedication has been put into building the cameras for the release of our 2015 flagship model. It will be intelligent and do all the thinking for users, allowing them to take amazing pictures under any conditions, without having to worry about anything more than just pressing the shutter button.”

Samsung is going to hold its Samsung Unpacked 2015 event on March 1, at the Mobile World Congress 2015, so we’ll find out more about the Galaxy S6 then.
