This game comes from a mix of legendary game creators including Bethesda, who brought you Skyrim and Dishonored. And, the award winning game-maker Shinji Mikami. Now, I know I don’t have to tell you how awesome that sounds, right?

Just like in Resident Evil, The Evil Within aims to take us, gamers back to those good old days when we had to run the game with very limited resources and die hell of lot before finishing the game, while shitting in our pants getting scared.

The Evil Within’s story goes around a detective named Sebastian. Looks like it’s gonna be a 3rd person shooter with badass old-school guns and zombies.

Here’s the main plot of the game -: “When Detective Sebastian and his partner rush to the scene of a gruesome mass murder, a mysterious, powerful force is lying in wait for them. Witnessing the killing of fellow police officers one after another, Sebastian is then attacked and loses consciousness. Waking up in a land where monsters are wandering about, Sebastian has to fight his way through a world of death and its close friend madness in order to understand what’s going on. Sebastian has to face his fears in order to survive on a journey to discover what lies in the shadows of that mysterious force.”

Featuring “indescribable terror”, puzzles, traps and highly detailed scary scenery powered by id’s Tech 5 engine, The Evil Within will definitely make it to the top when it hit Xbox 360, PlayStation 3,  and PC in 2014. And yes, it will come to next-gen consoles as well.

If you’ve been getting tired of playing mainstream games like COD or BF, then this one is just for you. Check out the first bloody trailer after the break, and you’ll know what I mean.
