With Christmas just around the corner, I thought that I would do the Christmas tag. I've seen lots of these posts and have really enjoyed reading them. Although I haven't been tagged by anyone I wanted to give it a go. So I tag everyone - leave me a link in the comments if you have already done one!
01. What's your favorite Christmas movie?Elf! No matter how old I get, or no matter how many times I watch it, my favorite will always be Elf!
02. Do you open presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?Christmas morning, I've never heard of people that open all of their presents on Christmas Eve, surely that takes the excitement out of Christmas morning?! A few of my friends recieve Christmas Eve pajamas but that's never been a thing in my family.
03. Do you have a favorite Christmas memory?I don't have one particular memory that I recall, but my favorite Christmas memories are all of the Christmas' I spent with my Grandad. Some of you may know he passed away last year and he was a huge part of our family. Christmas without him last year was strange and facing this one without him feels twice as hard as last year. However I'm thankful for all of the wonderful times we shared and also thankful for the strong and supportive family that I have around me.
04. Favourite festive food?I'm not a huge fan of sweet treats at Christmas, so I don't indulge in things like mince pies and Christmas cake. I'd definitely say my favorite is Christmas dinner with lots of sausages wrapped in bacon (or pigs in blankets as some say!)
05. Favourite Christmas scent?Salted Caramel, I'm completely obsessed with that scent this year. When I burn my Salted Caramel Yankee candle it literally makes my mouth water.
06. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?Usually a cosy day at home, me and my Dad make mince pies and we also decorate the Christmas cake ready for Christmas day. If the weather is decent we go for a little walk and just relax.
07. As a kid what was the one (crazy, extravagant, wild) present you always asked for but never received?Probably a drum kit, when I was around age 7 all I wanted was a drum kit but I think my parents never bought me one to save their ears. To this day I have no idea why I had my heart set on a drum kit as I'm not musical in the slightest!
08. What's the best part about Christmas for you?Definitely family time. I love being surrounded by family, close friends, love and laughter. Besides all of the indulgent food and wonderful gifts, Christmas is a time to spend with family.
