The Body Shop: Skincare and Nails

The Body Shop Newcastle Skincare and Nails 1Last week I visited The Body Shop to find out about their new product launches. They seem to be on fire lately, with their Wild Argan Oil range unveiled only a few weeks ago and even more exciting things coming in the next few months! The Body Shop Newcastle Skincare and Nails 2
I went along to the Newcastle store with Chloe, my blogger partner in crime who I really don't see as often as I'd like to! We were shown the new products by Jasmin and Rebecca in store and had a good ol' browse.

Jasmin and Rebecca recently became the only experts in the region which is really cool and very exciting for them. Rebecca is the skincare expert and Jasmin is the makeup expert (and you can totally tell, her eyeliner and shadow game is flawless) both girls are lovely and really know their stuff!

The Body Shop Newcastle Skincare and Nails 6We were offered skin consultations and makeovers and could choose to paint our nails with one of their new Colour Crush shades. Since we arrived late-ish on the night, we instead opted to pick out a shade we liked (or in my case, several) and the girls let us take it away. We were also kindly gifted an Instablur Eye Primer and Drops of Youth Eye Concentrate. The Body Shop Newcastle Skincare and Nails 7
I've been giving instablur primer a whirl lately and even though it's early days, I am impressed. I've used it under my Narsissist palette, which was my go to over my birthday weekend, and it really does make the shades pop that little bit more.
It's pretty soon to say a lot about the Eye Concentrate, but I really like the rollerball applicator. It's soothing on the eye area and so easy to apply, so could really work into anyone's routine. I like to use it on nights when I use the Drops of Youth Concentrate as the pair really are great together.
The Colour Crush nail varnishes are great. With 24 shades to choose from, there's bound to be one you like and at £5 each, they're really affordable. I picked out 'Minty Armour', a peppermint blue that's unlike any other shade I own. I don't want to say too much since I've planned a full post soon, so keep an eye out for that next week!
Have you tried any of the new launches from The Body Shop?
