The Body Shop Mango Body Sorbet Review.

By Poorva @beautifuljrny

Hey everyone!

I was having a major writer’s block since more than 2 weeks :/ everytime I sat down to write, I was just not able to :(

hopefully, I’m over it now and getting back on track!!!

I love love love TBS body butters! But ofcourse they can be super heavy for summers, so I had to try these body sorbets when TBS launched them a few months back. And this was my last purchase from TBS for a long time as I’ve taken a much-needed-break from this brand now! More on that in a different post!

So let’s get on with the review…

The Body Shop has launched these body sorbets in 5 flavors – strawberry, mango, grapefruit, moringa and Satsuma. I bought the mango one!

The Body Shop describes this product as – Scoop an industry first with this cool body moisturiser, infused with tropical mango scent! Our breakthrough sorbet texture instantly melts into skin for a frosty burst of fresh moisture.

Light and fast-absorbing

Leaves body instantly moisturised

Up to 24 hours of hydration

Enriched with Community Fair Trade organic aloe from Guatemala

This body sorbet comes in a transparent tube, with a flip top cap.

The texture of the sorbet is really very different from any other moisturizing product!! Its neither a gel nor a lotion, its something in between. It spreads very easily on skin, and it kindof turns velvet-y matte! It leaves no residue and basically gets absorbed instantly!

When I first used it, I didn’t expect it to moisturize my skin at all, but I was very surprised that it makes my skin quite soft and does it keep it moisturized for almost the whole day! But it won’t be sufficient at all for dry-er skin or in colder months! But its perfect for summer mornings when you just want something light and refreshing :)

I bought the mango flavor as it appealed the most to me. It smells so so so yummmm :D this one claims to have “mango seed oil from India” and I loveeeee mangoes in India, maybe that’s the reason I got this one as it reminds me of Indian summers :D

Its available in all The Body Shop stores.

It retails for Rs.795 for 200ml in india. And for $14 in USA. But I got it for, around $5-6.

At the full price, it is quite expensive, but if you get it with a good discount, its worth the price !!

Overall, I really love this body sorbet! Its not a must have, but more of something super fun to try! I use it so much that I’m about to finish off this tube! :D I definitely recommend everyone to give it a try!!

Rating – 9/10
