The Best Of 2017 So Far

Posted on the 07 August 2017 by Sirmac2 @macthemovieguy

Normally people do this around the mid point of the year, but I haven’t actually done this yet. Granted, I’ve only seen 58 films released in 2017 (as of this posting), but I’ve been pretty impressed by several performances and films. So, as of right now, here’s what my “Best Of 2017” is looking like. For me, there are some obvious “top films” where you’ll see the film represented across every category. If these were “award nominations”, Logan would be getting 14 nominations, which I believe is the most. I wonder how much this list will have changed by the end of the year, when I’ve seen another 60+ movies.

If you don’t feel like scrolling through the whole list, here are the biggest highlights.
