The Best-Dressed Men from the 2016 Emmy Awards

By Attireclub @attireclub

The 68th edition of the Annual Primetime Emmy Awards was held on September 18 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. The ceremony honored the best in US prime time television from June 1 2015 until May 31 2016, as chosen by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

The red carpet was, as usually, one of the main focuses of the event, as many celebrities walked down to make their entrance and display great clothes, grooming and style.

Take a look at the celebrities who made our fashion edit:

Jerry Seinfeld

Our favorite funny man, comedian Jerry Seinfeld wore classic evening attire to the 2016 Emmys. Jerry is a great example of how a simple suit can let your personality shine through. Especially if you have such a big personality as Jerry.

Reggie Watts

Musician Reggie Watts (known by many from the Comedy Bang Bang show or from The Late Late Show with James Corden where he leads the house band) wore a blue suit which he accessorized with pink accessories for an eccentric and rather strange, yet stylish look. His signature haircut works well for him and completes the Reggie Watts look.

Trevor Jackson

Singer Trevor Jackson wore an amazing burgundy (apparently velvet) suit. Such a look is very appropriate for a ceremony such as the Emmy Awards, which celebrates creativity and has the vibe of an uptown evening event. Great job!

Louie Anderson

We’re not sure what to make of Louie Anderson’s jacket: in some ways it’s very appealing and we loved the white accents, but otherwise we’d like to see Louie in a more fitting jacket. Regardless, we were really drawn to his neck accessory.

Jon Voight

Actor Jon Voight went for classic elegance at the 2016 Emmy Awards by adding a white shawl to his evening suit. This is a really good, old-fashioned way to style up a suit, but it’s quite risky, as you are on the edge of cliché.

Ross Mathews

Ross Mathews wore a great printed jacket which matched his bubbly personality. We really like to see alternatives to classic suits on the red carpet and are glad Ross took the initiative to wear something different. We’re looking forward to see more Ross Mathews looks, as he always such a dapper guy!

Nolan Gould

Actor Nolan Gould represented the classic red carpet look in a well-fitting suit accessorized with a bow tie and with an accent pocket white pocket square. We encourage Young Hollywood and young people in general to opt for classic suits, as, you know how the saying is: “you need to first know the rules to break them.” It’s important to know how to wear a suit in a very classic manner first and only then to break the rules to your advantage! His haircut and grooming was also top notch!

The red carpet of the 2016 Emmy Awards was filled with cool style moments: from Ross Mathews’ printed jacket to Nolan Gould’s cool hairdo and Trevor Jackson’s suit, the men’s fashions from the 2016 Emmys did not lack diversity and elegance. Which is what we’ve waited for a long time, as usually men wear only classic suits at awards shows. Well done!
