The Alpinist Double IPA – Coast Mountain Brewing

From Coast Mountain Brewing in Whistler comes their "The Alpinist Double IPA". The beer pours a copper colour with a white head. The aroma consists of grapefruit, citrus, fruity, toffee and hops bitterness. The flavour is of Grapefruit, citrus, tropical fruits, toffee, resin, sweetness, alcohol and hops bitterness. The alcohol content comes in at 9.5% with an IBU of 85. This beer has the alcohol warmth you expect from a Double IPA with lots of great flavour from all the hops added. Commercial Description: A monstrous hop bomb of epic proportions. Dry-hopped every three days during maturation for weeks on end to create one of the stickiest of ickiest beers on the planet. Columbus, Citra, Amarillo & Cascade hops run the table on this one.
