The 24 Days of Christmas by Linda Lael Miller - Feature and Review
ABOUT THE BOOK:

A matchbox advent calendar first brought Frank Rayner and Addie Hutton together. But that was years ago. Since then Addie has written herself out of her father’s will, gotten herself blacklisted as a reporter, and had her husband leave her for a younger woman. The only good decision she seems to have made is to move back home, even if Frank now owns that home and is renting the apartment over the garage to her. Not that she thinks there’s anything there. There’s no reason to get wrapped up in the holiday cheer. Because Christmas miracles are for the movies. Real life is about unexpected families—and the magic of true love—and could there be a happy ending after all?
MY REVIEW:The 24 Days of ChristmasThe 24 Days of Christmas by Linda Lael Miller
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
24 Days of Christmas by Linda Lael Miller is a 2016 Lyrical Shine publication. I was provided a copy of this book by the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
This cute Christmas themed novella centers around, Frank and Addie who were high school sweethearts whose lives took different directions after Addie broke off their engagement.
Now, after a failed marriage and the demise of her journalism career, Addie had returned home and is renting a house from Frank.
Frank, lost his wife two years ago and is raising his daughter, Lissie alone. But, when Addie finds out her ex is sending his son to her for an extended stay, she and Frank bond over Christmas pageants and old times, while making new memories together.
Can their old flame be reignited?
I really enjoyed this family based romance featuring two adorable children and a second chance at love for Addie and Frank. Heartwarming and delightful, this story is a perfect mood setter for the holiday season.
