That's All I'm Saying

I’ve been reading this book steadily and I am so entranced, when I wake up early in the morning, after I check my phone for news, it’s the first thing I read. The story is progressing well and more and more I am growing fond of Clyde and wishing him the best.

I think it amazing that he is with his extended family and he has a real chance to make something of himself. So, I was basically screaming in my head when he started something with Rita. I don’t quite understand how he is so easily persuaded by people. He is constantly letting his guard down and acting naïve about situations. As a result, people feel like they can easily take advantage of him.

I also noticed that on their first encounter with Clyde, his extended family only appreciated his good looks and his lack of self-confidence. Somehow knowing that he is self-deprecating makes them feel comfortable because they feel superior to him. The sad thing is, Clyde is completely oblivious to this fact and he thinks they are actually warming up to him.
Gilbert is no sunshine either. Boy does he anger me. His attitude is incredible because we all know that he is at his current station because of his parents. But still I have to give it to him for actually knowing how his business is run. He is very detail-oriented, which I appreciate.
Still, I am frustrated with Clyde because it seems as though if there is a pretty girl walking by, he will always loose his mind. That is not the kind of person you would want to employ and I am sure that trait will come and bite him later.
Every girl he means looks at him as an easy target because he wears his heart on his sleeve. He needs to learn to be more cautious and reserved.
For your record, I am on page 232 of 856 pages. I’m blowing your mind aren’t I?
