Thao & the Get Down Stay Down’s New Track [stream]

In the midst of prepping her third full-length, We the Common, Thao & the Get Down Stay Down (@thaogetstaydown) has released a new single, “Holy Roller”, the first song written for the new album. A rolicking, playful take on jangly, finger-picked indie folk, the track puts forth the same charismatic guitar riffs and casual, compelling vocals that fans of front woman Thao Nguyen have come to enjoy. In her words, the track “was the first song I wrote for this new record…it marked a shift in how I operate. I was steadily, in an overdue way, becoming grateful for everything and everyone I had.
