D.C Editor Adam writes…
We were delighted to receive these kind words from London Walker Cathy Briner earlier this week.
Cathy we hope you don't mind that we've posted you email on our blog, but we really appreciate that you've taken the time to write to us.
It's been pretty chilly here in London these past few weeks and walking in these nagging northerly and northeasterly winds has been a challenge. People keep saying to me, "Do you guys really do your London Walks in all weathers?"
And I keep replying: "It doesn't matter a stuff what WE do. YOU are they guys who join us! You guys are the heroes!"
Thanks again Cathy, say "Hi!" to Oregon and we're looking forward to seeing you here in London soon!

"Dear London Walks

I'm an American  who visits London at least once every year. And every time I manage to go on at least 3-4 walks and/or excursions. I always design my stays now to coincide with special walks I've yet to take.   I want to put in a special kudo (is there a singular??) for Simon… I've been on several excursions (Salisbury/Stonehenge, Bath, Rochester, Cambridge, etc.) with him and he is always terrific.
Thanks again Cathy. Here's Simon with a few words on his favorite hat in an earlier piece from the Daily Constitutional.
A London Walk costs £9 – £7 concession. To join a London Walk, simply meet your guide at the designated tube station at the appointed time. Details of all London Walks can be found at www.walks.com.
