On the drive back to Fort Worth we passed by the Texas Prison Museum ironically located across the freeway from an actual prison, we couldn't help but stop. There were of course tons of weapons, the old ball and chain, a mock prison cell, and (my favorite) an electric chair! The museum of course offered a lot of history on Texas prisons and stories about some of their infamous criminals. It was an awesome find for me!
That wrapped up the end of my trip to Texas and travels for 2009.
Next destination to be conquered on my bucketlist: Atlantic City
