Tarteist Pro Glow To Go & Tarteist Pro To Go Review

By Urhappybunnie @joaniebunnie

So again, I've been inconsistent with my blog posts but life gets in the way. I'm not a full time blogger but I blog as a hobby and I love showing my favorite things over social media.
One of my favorite to-go, go-to, makeup is my month old pick up from Sephora, the Tarteist Pro To Go and Pro Glow To Go.

Let me start with the Tarteist Pro Glow To Go. It is a highlight and contour palette with two highlight shades and a bronzer. Gleam is a pearl highlight, Burst is described as a shimmering sand highlight and Chisel is a matte contour shade. Gleam has more of a white cast whereas Burst has more of a golden tone. Chisel is a great bronzer and contour shade for medium skin tones. It has a warm neutral undertone which for my fair/medium skin tone, is great as a summer color. It is a great bronzer to warm up the skin. I think for someone who might be paler than me, this would be too warm of a shade.

The Tarteist Pro To Go Palette features 6 eyeshadows, 3 mattes and 3 shimmery shades. A great neutral on the go palette that can take you day to night, laid back to glam.

Drive is a matte nude shade, comes out slightly pink on my skin tone but still a great all over lid color or transition shade. Stylin is a matte, deep chocolate brown shade. This shade is a great color to deepen your look. I've said this before in a previous blog post, I'm the type of girl who stays away from black eyeshadows and go for the deep brown shades to glam up my looks. Boss is a satin bronze shade. Another great all over lid shade. Hype is a true gold shadow which I love to put in my inner eye corner. Crisp is a warm chestnut brown. Another lovely transition shade for you gals who love warm transition colors. The last color is Dominate, a shimmering raspberry which is a great pop of color if you're tired of all these warm neutral shadows.

The Tarteist Pro To Go actually reminds me of he Anastasia Renaissance Palette only a mini version. I love neutral palettes and this is just perfect for travel.
Both Pro To Go and Pro Glow To Go palettes smell like heavenly chocolate and uses the same Amazonian clay formula as the other Tarte products.
If there's a downside that I need to mention, it is that you have to always tap your eyeshadow brushes before you apply them on your lids because its so soft, heavily pigmented and creates fallouts that might ruin your base makeup if you have already applied it before doing your eye makeup. I also wish that I have a least one blush shade included in the Glow palette.  Other than that, this two mini palettes has replaced the Kat Von D Shade + Light Palette and the Juvia Nubian Palette that I used to carry with me all the time when I travel.
