Tarina Tarantino Emerald Pretty Palette

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
I think Taraina Tarantino products are underrated.  What I have tried from her line of cosmetics, has been very nice.  This palette was no exception.
Pigment and Shades
This palette comes with 6 shades and each are nicely pigmented. I will let the pictures speak for themselves.  You only need a little of each shadow for it to show up.  The least pigmented of the bunch is Saw Dust Heart, which is a matte brown.
The six shades will easily remind you of The Emerald City from The Wizard of Oz.
1.) Glinda's Kiss: Gorgeous, slightly shimmery, pearly white.
2.) Silver Shoes: I really do not know how to describe this one, lol.  The closest thing I can come up with is a shimmery taupey gray.
3.) Dandy Lion: shimmery golden green
4.) Saw Dust Heart: matte dark brown
5.) Ozma: shimmery teal
6.) Very Wicked: shimmery silvery green.

Texture and Staying Power
The texture is silky smooth and one of the highest ranked on my list of best textures.  For most of the shades, there is no trace of being powdery or chalky.  Saw Dust Heart Heart is a bit on the chalky side, but it still makes a great liner.  I experience no fall out with any of the shimmer shades. Sadly, the staying power was not fantastic.  Dandy Lion faded a good bit when I wore it and creased a little.  This was after about 6 or 7 hours.
Packaging and Price
The container is actually pretty large.  It is made of sturdy cardboard (but is actually very nice) and shuts magnetically.  It is a lovely emerald shade and is shaped like a gem.  And the best thing is that it comes with a mirror, which is always an amazing thing in a palette. Each shadow is 0.9 0z. and the price of the palette is $36.00 and it is a Sephora exclusive.

Overall Impression
Other than the mediocre staying power, I really like this palette,  It has some fairly unique shades with good quality.  It is not a palette I would get everyday use out of, or perhaps not even weekly.  But it certainly has shades that were not previously in my collection, such as Dandy Lion, Silver Shoes and Very Wicked.  My final rating for this would be a 4/5.
