Tandoor Chef and Cabernet Sauvignon

I am always on the hunt for quick meals for lunches, I work really close to home and usually eat lunch at home. It’s nice to be able to let the dogs out, give them a few minutes of attention and quickly warm a dish. Sometimes leftovers but sometimes out of the freezer.

Tandoor Chef invited me to try their entrees paired with wine. I didn’t do that for lunch but one night when Scott was working I heated up the Chicken Tandoori with Spinach and had a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon.On their website you can select the entrée and it will give you recommended wine pairings. Love this idea!

The tandoori chicken has a rich sauce with spinach and the cabernet balanced the flavors nicely. Indian and other spicy foods can be really hard to pair wine with but the cab was really nice with this! I didn’t have to cook, had delicious Indian food and was able to curl up with a glass of wine in a quiet house.
