Tan De Chanel

tan de chanelSoleil Tan de ChanelLike so many others, I've had my eye on Tan de Chanel for yonks but could never justify the £30 price tag - until I was given a £30 Harrods gift card. I went there a little unsure what to spend it on... MAC, Laura Mercier, Bobbi Brown et al did their best to woo me, but as soon as I came across the Chanel counter I knew it was meant to be. Approximately 3 minutes later I was a £30 gift card down, but had in my hand this gorgeous little package in a rather attractive Chanel bag. What about the product itself? Well, at first I was a little miffed. It is a cream-like formula, so bought a little kabuki brush to apply it with, but found it wasn't transferring onto the skin particularly successfully. Hurumph. However, fear not, after a few uses the formula began to 'warm up' and now applied smoothly with little effort. A little really goes a long way and creates a subtle, matte color. I'm pretty pale (EL Double Wear in Shell for reference, or the palest shade in most highstreet foundations) but this is so buildable, meaning I'm able to blend it into my foundation and avoid that tangoed/glitter bombed look you get with so many bronzers. Would I recommend it? Definitely. It really delivers in terms of quality, ease of application and results... even for the palest among us!tan de chaneltan de chanel
