By Triedandtestedblogger @triedtestedblog

Rimmel have come out with a large array of new releases, from a highlighting, blush and contour trio to an Instagram inspired skin tint and a mascara that tints your lashes! I’ve shared my thoughts on each of the new releases below!

The standout in their latest releases, for me, is the Kate Sculpting Palette, which has become an everyday staple for me We’ve seen a lot of contouring and highlighting palettes enter the drugstore market but not many complete highlight, blush and contour trio palettes. The powders have a lovely texture and are easy to apply and blend. The pigmentation is nice and not too strong, which helps ensure you dont accidentally apply too much! The highlighter and blush shades are beautifully balanced, not too warm, too cool or too shimmery, catering to a range of skin tones. The contour shade unfortunately runs a little warm on my fair skin tone and it does contain some shimmer, so perhaps it’s best used as a light bronzer. The back of the packaging also includes an instructional application image which is also helpful for those who aren’t too confident on where to apply each powder.

The Wonder’full Volume Colourist Mascara is an interesting product as the mascara contains a Last-tint complex which is said to gradually darker/tint lashes. The formula of the mascara is fantastic and alongside the bristled brush, provides both great length and separation to the lashes. With a deep black finish, the mascara lasts well on the lashes all day and is a great everyday option. I’ve been keeping my eye on the darkness of my lashes and I can say I do think the formula is tinting my lashes, most evidently on my lower lashes (as the tips used to be lighter than the rest of the lash). I do have naturally black lashes which is perhaps why I’m not seeing too much of a difference but I am keen to hear from those who have naturally lighter/blonde lashes and whether or not they see a difference after weeks of use!

New in from @rimmellondonau – Colour Precise Eyeliners. Love that they've come out with a white liquid liner! More on the blog soon!

I was really interested to see if the #InstaFlawless Perfecting, Radiant Skin Tint would really deliver that Instagram like, flawless filter on my skin! The tint in this product is very light so it wont provide any coverage but it does do well in providing the skin with a natural glow with a barely there feeling. The formula is easy to blend into the skin, though I did find it to slightly cling to any dry patches on the face so it wasn’t very hydrating on my dry skin type. When worn under a foundation, the product created a nice base to work on and added a slight touch of radiance to the final finish.

As a huge liquid liner fan, I was excited to put the Colour Precise Eyeliners to the test. The product comes in three shades: Black, White and Blue, and feature a structured yet flexible, thin felt tip. Each shade has nice pigmentation and is easy to apply, with no tugging or harsh pressure necessary during application. The thin tip allows you to produce thin or thick liner looks on the eye and works well to create a sharp wing. You can build up the pigmentation by applying a second coat, but I would recommend applying the second coat after the first dries as the color can drag and move if too much pressure is applied. Once set, the formula stays put all day, without any smudging or flaking at all! One thing to note about this product is that I’ve found the cap not to lock tightly so be careful when storing these in makeup bags.

Have you tried any of these new Rimmel London products?
