A suburb of India’s capital New Delhi, Gurgaon is a bustling metropolis of skyscrapers and high-end shopping—a city of two million people that grows way faster than it could keep up. Yet despite its boom, still found within its concrete jungles are a colorful culture and a local cuisine that takes influence from India’s different regions.

The trip from Manila to New Delhi (from where Gurgaon is accessible) takes two flights and more than nine hours of flying. But the good news is that The Cafe at Hyatt City of Dreams Manila is taking diners to an gastronomic adventure to Gurgaon, India.

To do this, they are inviting Chef Ajith Kumar of the Hyatt Regency Gurgaon to showcase his take on time-honored Indian dishes.

Taking his spice rack with him, Chef Ajith will prepare, among others, Paneer makhani (cottage cheese simmered in tomato sauce spiked with fenugreek), Maas ke sooley (smoked lamb with raw papaya), and Kerala prawn masala (tiger prawn with coconut curry leaves, ginger, and chili).

This journey of enticing aromas and complex tastes will be on 17-24 July 2016. Buffet rates start at 1388 PHP net for lunch and 1888 PHP net for dinner.

For reservations, call The Cafe at Hyatt City of Dreams Manila at +63 2 691 1234 local 1162 or book online at thecafe.reservation.hyatt.com.
