Look of the Day – Look who’s wearing pants today! Well, uhm, last week I mean!

There’s been a tug-of-war going on between the sun and the rain so it is vital to keep your outfit appropriate whichever side the weather goes. Here’s what I wore to the Kalayaan 2014 Party at Club Moffs. Yep, that was last week. An event on a Wednesday night. I wanted to wear pants badly for reasons unknown. I went for it! Casual and comfy is my thing now, remember? Given that this was very much a ‘day’ look, I have no choice but to go for it since I really don’t have extra clothes at boyf’s place.
I have been chatting with Domz of Konichiwear lately. She’s one of my fave Filipina bloggers, to be honest. I don’t know how it came to be but we just clicked! While talking about our line of work, I realized we’re now working in the same industry. Her new job at a digital advertising agency sounds interesting. Somehow, the convo went to me submitting a CV in their company so we can be workmates. Funny! The notion of trying it out there in a real workplace is tempting but I don’t know if I’ll be able to handle it. Jeeez… Why am I so afraid of the world?
When I think about summer-inspired outfits, some of the things considered as “must wear” would have to be crochet, denims, neons, and wedges. I might have gone cray because I wore them all in today’s look.
In other news, did you experience the Facebook shutdown? It lasted maybe 10-15 minutes. I thought I was the only one panicking at the sight of the “Sorry, something went wrong” line. When I tweeted the above photo, some of my friends seconded too. Something went wrong trended for a while. I wonder what happened or more importantly, why it happened. There’s a joke about it that said: Why something went wrong? Facebook used to be so strong. Hoho!
Thank you Miss Jo for sending me this classic bucket bag! My tan speedy can take a rest now. New bags from Maxene’s Closet has been on rotation daily. True story. This, on the other hand, is the perfect bag for I’ll-stuff-everything-coz-I’m-late instances.
