Take Lowpines’ Latest with You into Hibernation [stream]

It’s that time of year when we wish to stay indoors as much as possible with the warmth and the dryness. Along with being inside for the majority of our winter hours comes more time for listening to records, tapes, and old favorites. For me, I naturally lean towards the more melancholy of my collection, especially the folk. Lowpines‘ latest single, “Call If You Need Me”, falls perfectly into my winter playlist for all its hushed storytelling and lo-fi Americana melody. The track is from Lowpines upcoming EP to be released digitally and on limited (only 25 copies) edition cassette tapes, each with its own hand-drawn illustrated cover. The songcraft and everything surrounding the project feels earnest and warm and ideal for hibernation listening.
