Tahir-ul-Qadri Warns Against Blocking Long March

Tahir-ul-qadriDr. Tahir-ul-Qadri, New Political sensation in Pakistan has warned has warned both central and provincial governments that that mob may become uncontrollable if barred from long March. He was addressing a press conference in Lahore on Sunday. He once again made it clear that long march will remain peaceful unless interrupted.

Tahir-ul-Qadri is scheduled to lead millions of people from Lahore to Islamabad on January 14th and stay there unless all his demanded electoral reforms are materialized.

He claimed that Punjab Government is also creating hurdles in preparation and harassing his party workers. Hurling threat to provincial government he said that half of the participants may decide to march towards Lahore while rest of them will follow the original plan.

“We want to change system through election, not (political) parties,”

Tahir-ul-Qadri said that long march will decide whether looters will continue their rule or poor masses will throw them out. He reminded PPP workers that their party has forgotten the slogan of “Rooti-Kapra-Makaan” as nobody has received this under current ruling setup. People have actually lost their assets due to inflation and lawlessness.

Tahir-ul-Qadri created sensation in political circles by addressing largely attended public gathering at Lahore on December 27, 2012. He presented his charter of demanded and threatened of long march in Islamabad on January 14th if his demands are not met.
