Microsoft has been working on a Surface Phone since some time. Every now and then we see some leak or rumor regarding the Microsoft Surface phone pops up invoking a huge amount of interest among fans and industry. While Microsoft is planning to re-enter the mobile handset market since the Lumia series has been phased out.
What is the Surface Phone?
Microsofts CEO Satya Nadella had announced that the company will launch the ultimate mobile device in 2017. He claims that Microsoft is determined to create and deliver something unique and will continue to be in the mobile phone market.
“We will continue to be in the phone market not as defined by today’s market leaders, but by what it is that we can uniquely do in what is the most ultimate mobile device.” said Satya Nadella, CEO Microsoft.
Since doing away with the Nokia brand, Microsoft is focusing more on creating a unique device that does not look like the regular phones around us. The numerous leaks have hinted that Microsoft is hiding a very unique and a powerful mobile device under its sleeves.
What is the latest Surface Phone Rumour?
Recently Microsoft related channel on Chinese website Bilibili, revealed that the successor to Windows Phone from Microsoft will be called the Surface Phone.

This leak suggests that the new Surface Phone will be a very powerful device and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and is supposed to have a kickstand that opens as far as 185 degrees. This kickstand is like the one present in Surface Pro and Surface PCs.

Another feature highlighted in the leak is the “Onto Table” which is being linked to projection capacity. Now, it can be “projection” of the phone screen on a large screen using continuum or it may be even come with a built-in projector.
Ther are more hints in the leak, however, at this point in time, it’s very difficult to interpret as not much is known about what Microsoft is up to here. Only time will tell how accurate are these Surface phone leaks but
