Super Easy 4th of July Look

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
Happy 4th of July!  I hope you guys are having a wonderful day and are celebrating at the beach, lake or a cookout at a friends.  As for me, this is the first day I have had off in a long time, so I was lazy and stayed at home after running some errands.  But that doesn't mean I did not do anything festive.  I wore a very easy, yet patriotic look.
Super Easy 4th of July Look
1.) Primers
I always start by applying my eye primer (Hard Candy Eyes the Limit) first.  While that is setting, I apply my face primer (e.l.f. Mineral Face primer for now) and let that set while I apply my eyeshadow.

2.) Eyes
Now for my favorite part...the eyes.  I went with neutral eyeshadow with a touch of blue liner on my lower lash line. I used the gold from Maybelline's The Nudes Palette on the inner half of my lid, the first shade on the bottom on the outer half and a shimmery beige as a highlighter. Products used:
  • Maybelline The Nudes Palette
  • Maybelline Master Kajal in Navy Night
  • Lancome Le Crayon Kohl in Black Ebony for upper lash line
  • Cover Girl Bombshell Curvaceous Mascara
  • Tarte Amazonian Clay Volumizing Brow Powder

3.) Face and Lips
During the summer, it always nice to have a matte face with a hint of color and glow.  To keep my face from getting too oily (because lets face it, some oil is going to happen no matter what).  Here is what I used:
  • Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation
  • Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder
  • NYX Illuminator in Ritualistic
  • Sephora Sol de Rio Bronzer
  • NYX Matte Finish Setting Spray
  • Maybelline Cherry Me Baby Lips
And presto, a patriotic look that still looks nice and simple.Super Easy 4th of July Look
