Fashion Magazine

The shoe of the day is the mod leather platform with top-stitching by Pierre Cardin between 1976 and 1978.
People, I have a problem. I've had no time to finish reading the May issue of FASHION, featuring Daria Werbowy, and today the summer issue appeared in the mailbox.
I heard about Katy Perry being on the cover, but I resisted the urge to sought it out somewhere on the internet because I didn't want to spoil the surprise. The last summer issue, featuring Sarah Jessica Parker (which, oh my God, is the first thing I ever blogged about!) was also decorated with a white dress. But this one is so much better. It is the most beautiful and inspiring magazine cover I have ever seen.
SunnySpeak of the devil, Teenage Dream just started playing. I'm not a terribly huge fan of her music, but ever since E.T. featuring Kanye West got released all was forgiven. The summer issue is the one that brings the most happiness. Just the words, "Your Sexiest Summer: smoothest skin, shiniest hair, safest glow," are making me all jittery. Now I know what I want my prom dress to look like. A floor-length version of the Dolce & Gabbana dress on Katy Perry, maybe in a nice pastel shade.Just a little over a month left. Are you understanding me, fellow students? We can do it! White-sanded beaches and tanning oil are quickly approaching. But don't fret, if you don't have the luxury to jet off somewhere fabulous (just like me for the past ten years), focus on the greater things about your city. There is always something to do. Or you can catch up on your sleep. That sounds favorable. XOXO,Nina
