Sunday Strolls In Islington

Dansk Flowers IslingtonHere goes edit number two of writing this post, my previous one didn’t save, how annoying! Anyway, when my parents came and visited me halfway through my time in London we spent our Sunday strolling through Islington which was a perfect way to spend our afternoon after our time at Hermes. Sundays are my ultimate day of the week as there are no expectations, except that of relaxation and an enjoyable feast at some point or other. It’s also always a great day to just “stroll” around with no particular plan, but to enjoy your surrounds and discover new things. Sundays are the best, and today was no different. I had never been to Islington before, so after a few stops along the underground we walked up and out at Angel (love that underground station name!). Ma had previously looked up shops around Islington High St, whilst I had looked up surrounding places to enjoy a drink and sustenance at! You know how our minds operate!! As we pottered along the high street and in the vague general direction of Ottolenghi’s we passed this beautiful flower stall by the St Mary’s Church, “Dansk Flowers”.
