While True Blood‘s soundtrack normally features blues type music, this Sunday’s episode will be going in a new direction musically. Music Supervisor Gary Calamar confirms that we will hear Taylor Swift‘s ‘Haunted‘ during a “racy, sexy scene” on Sunday. He won’t confirm which scene it will be or who will be in it, but he asked Rolling Stone who they thought it might be and the answer was Jason and Jessica. Calamar says that it was the episode’s writer who suggested using Swift’s song. Although her camp initially denied the request, Swift herself came forward and said she wanted the song in the episode. In other musical and possibly spoilerish news, Calamar talks about the last episode of the season which is entitled ‘And When I Die’ and as with all True Blood episodes will feature a song of the same name as the closing credits plays. About this episode he says:
“That might be a hint that one of our characters is in trouble. Vampires don’t really die, so I’ll say it’s not a vampire. They won’t face the true death. But some of our main characters do run into a little bad luck in the final episode.”
