Sunday Catch Up

By Beautybykaris @beautybykaris

Hey There,

Hope you all have had a lovely week. I started my week and ended my bank hol weekend with a Nandos and Cinema date with the boy, (Can’t go wrong with that). Both being huge action fans we went to watch Spider-Man 2, now not to piss off all you Spider-Man lovers, but I wasn’t too much of a fan of the whole plot, to be quite honest with you, it was the characters that pulled it through for me. I much preferred Captain America 2.

I don’t have much to report from the rest of the week, just the standard 9-5 grind of work, (Well 6.45-4 for me). We had a works do Friday evening, as one of my colleagues is moving back to America, (If only she could take me with her), we went for a curry at the Coriander Lounger in Southampton, (Undoubtedly one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever been to). Their food is always delicious, and they even gave us complimentary Baileys. I opted for a chicken shashlik, which is a dry curry and almost kebab like, with a side dish of saag bhaji, (My new favorite dish). When it comes to currys, I normally like a spicy madras, or chilli chicken with a side of keema rice or peshwari Naan, (An indulgent option if you’d like), but I quite fancied having something different, and this time I didn’t leave the restaurant in a food coma, (An achievement at least).

Yesterday I spent the day with my sister, finding new things for her house and chatting about interior decor. Today I am off for a spa day at the New Forest Bath Spa. It was meant to be a day with my sister, but as she can’t come, I’m going alone. But this does mean I get her treatments, so I’m not complaining, (Hour and a half massage…yes please).

On the blog this week I’ve been talking spending bans, Clarins skincare, make up looks, using Urban Decays Naked Basics, and of course my weekly manicure Monday post. Have you caught up on these yet?

Have a lovely Sunday afternoon, I’m off for a swim and to fall asleep on a massage bed.

Lots of love,
KBxx
