Sun Protection: Protect That Skin Gurrrrrrl!

For the past couple of weeks I have been obsessed with skin care. The big 3-0 looms in the horizon and my number one concern is slowing slowing aging (yes!) and taking care of my skin. I had to learn about my need for sunscreen the hard way. i became a victim of over-ex foliation and my spf15 was just not cutting it! After doing my research I decided to get me a higher SPF moisturizer as well as a separate sunblock for days when i have to be outside.
I have a bottle of La Roche Posay on its way so until it gets here, this is what I'm using and loving!

Aveeno - Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 & Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock SPF 70

I've only used them today so I can't give a a proper review on them as yet but I was a bit surprised at how well my makeup held up over them. I applied the sunblock first and allowed it to sit for 30 minutes before I applied the moisturizer (a tad bit to the dry areas) and I allowed that to sit 10 minutes before applying foundation etc...

I didn't have to blot or apply blot powder during the day and my make-up looked matte and fresh when I got home. I'm gonna keep using this and do an update in a few weeks!
