Wireless Hotspots are a thing of beauty. What else can I say? I’m a fan.Taxi Driver and I are currently at our favorite café in the Old Harbor, savoring today’s last rays of sunshine over coffee and bacon (coffee for me and bacon for him). It’s already September but the summer here in Crete is showing no signs of leaving the island just yet. The tourists, on the other hand, are beginning to pack up and head for home. Soon, Chania’s Old Town will belong to the locals again. Taxi Driver and I won’t have to worry about unwieldy suitcases bumping into us or getting sideswiped by an overstuffed backpack in passing as we walk down Main Street much longer. So I’m raising my cup of coffee and proposing a toast this summery September.
